  • MVSD Board Approves MVSD School Construction Project

We are pleased to report that the MVSD school board is moving forward with the construction project at our Franklin location. This is an allowable and appropriate use of ARP ESSER funds that will provide much needed instructional and student support opportunities. Specifically, the addition will include a dedicated pre-K classroom and one additional classroom, a music and band room, as well as student support spaces for intervention, tutoring, and special education.

While this project is only a small part of the building upgrades we have put into motion across the district, we’re excited to provide this for MVSD students in Franklin.

Having adequate space is one step toward meeting our students’ needs, and while there is still a journey ahead of us, this project will provide a positive, long lasting impact for MVSD and our community.
